- Option 1
DAY 1:
Your day starts with a 9:30 departure from the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. A 45-minute flight to Palmar Sur is followed by a taxi-ride through the banana and palm-oil plantations, to the river-town of Sierpe. A boat trip down the Sierpe River takes you through farms, jungle and mangrove swamps to the Pacific Ocean. You travel across Drake Bay, and to our landing beach, where you need to prepare for wet feet. After you get settled in to your tent and have lunch; the day is yours for hiking, horseback-riding, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the beach.
Dinner is served at 7pm, followed by conversations and an early night in bed.
DAY 2, 3:
One of these days is a guided trip to Corcovado National Park, to explore the jungle and river habitats. The tour leaves the beach at around 7am, so an early breakfast is served.
The other day is for relaxing near the camp at our beautiful beaches, or hiking on our trails, or doing any of the other tours we offer.
DAY 4:
After breakfast, the boat takes you up the Sierpe River, where you will be met by a waiting taxi and then transferred to the airport for the flight back to San José.
- Option 2-
As above but with transport from San Jose to Palmar by Tracopa Bus, and return the same.
